...I never mind getting my gloves dirty caring for a garden. For in the end, it is the garden that truly nurtures me. I like gardening - it's a place where I find myself when I need to lose myself.

My first memory of gardening is watching my father wander among the multi-colored impatiens and yellow roses, taking care to stop and smell each one. He taught me the joy of gardening is having your hands in the dirt, head in the warm sun, and heart immersed in nature.
I began my gardening career working for a Wisconsin landscaping company. In 1999 I launched my own professional gardening business serving clients throughout Ozaukee, Sheboygan, Washington and Waukesha counties. I am trained as a horticulturist through MATC and was certified as a Master Gardener in the mid 1990's. The most rewarding aspect of my work is creating beautiful places for people to find solace and peace. I particularly enjoy designing native and non-native gardens using organic gardening practices. When I design gardens, I strive to work intimately with my clients to meet their specific needs. Whether it be preparing your flower beds, controlling invasive weeds, or creating a beautiful woodland garden; I never mind getting my gloves dirty caring for a garden . In the end, it is the garden that truly nurtures me. Robyn Curtes Beechwood, WI |
